Monclova Christian Preschool is an outreach ministry of Monclova Road Baptist Church serving families in our community. We provide a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where children are known, loved, and encouraged to grow.
Our program is designed to support the whole child—spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and academically—through developmentally appropriate, hands-on learning experiences rooted in a biblical foundation. We are committed to partnering with families to help children build confidence, develop a love for learning, and begin to understand God’s truth and His love for them.
Preschool Philosophy
Monclova Christian Preschool is an outreach ministry of Monclova Road Baptist Church (MRBC) serving the local community. Our educational philosophy is built on a biblical foundation and a child-centered, developmentally appropriate approach within a safe and caring environment.
We desire that each child will learn to appreciate the wonders of God’s creation, understand His great love demonstrated through Jesus Christ, and begin developing habits of prayer, kindness, and Christlike living.
As a ministry of MRBC, MCP follows the MRBC Statement of Faith for staff expectations. While these beliefs guide our program and policies, families are not required to hold the same statement of faith in order to participate in the preschool.
Kindergarten Readiness & Learning Goals
Our preschool program weaves together academic learning, creative exploration, and play-based experiences to prepare children for a successful transition into kindergarten.
Children engage in art, music, storytelling, early math, science exploration, and hands-on learning activities that build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Daily free play provides opportunities for social development, problem-solving, and creativity.
Our goal is to develop confidence, independence, and essential early learning skills such as letter recognition, number concepts, shapes, colors, and pre-writing skills, while fostering a love for learning in a Christ-centered environment.

Preschool Programs & Enrollment Requirements
Children must be toilet trained to attend Monclova Christian Preschool. Children must be 3 years old by the first day of school to enroll in the 3-year-old program and 4 years old by the first day of school to enroll in the 4–5-year-old program.

A $120 non-refundable application fee is required for new students.
